Coconuts are full of Lauric Acids which have great Antiviral, Antimicrobial and Antifungal properties. They help fight off all sorts of viruses and will even help fight off the common flue so during the winter months it’s a great way to keep yourself in good health. It is also believed to help with your Cholesterol along with Tumor prevention.
Even without all the health benefits listed above I would recommend this as a great way to start your day or even for snacks/meals during the day. You can pick it up in most supermarkets so it’s easy to come by. It comes in a Can but remember to shake it well before opening as the liquid and solid separate. Just add it to some rice, thrown in some nuts (Cashew Nuts work great) and heat in a Pot for a couple of minutes and its ready for eating. Remember its always best to use the Long Grain Rice that takes near the hour mark to prepare. You will find that the quick cook Rice’s are from poor quality Rice grains so maybe you should do up a batch of in the evening time so it will be ready for you in the morning.
